Bookstore Yoga

Kicking off on a brand new day of the week, Sunday, January 6 at 8:30AM, Bookstore Yoga gets even more bookish in 2019.

Each weekly asana practice will be tied to a Yoga-related book of the month. Practitioners are encouraged to read along, but are not required to—in fact, if reading just doesn't fit into your schedule, just show up to class for the cliff-notes version, yoga-style! Join us to kick-start and deepen your practice in the new year—mind, body, and soul.

In January we are exploring Richard Freeman’s THE MIRROR OF YOGA. THE MIRROR OF YOGA is a fantastic introduction to the philosophical traditions and schools of yoga and is particularly grounding for Western readers (and anyone else not steeped or grown in the cultures that gave rise to yoga practice).

Weekly class price is $10, space is limited to five students (first come-first serve).
